I am convinced that the most important law in my life is to have faith：faith in my family, faith in humanity and most of all faith in myself. With faith great things happen. Faith brings love, trust, and confdence in my life. To lose faith is to feel lost and alone. To have faith is to believe that I have a purpose and that I can achieve.
I have faith in my family. To have faith in my family is to have an army to fght for you. My mother, sisters, cousins, stepfather, aunts, uncles, and grandmother all are there for me. As a family, I can count on all of them to help me make it through the rough times. We are strong because we are together. When I was a baby my father left our family and this was very diffcult for everyone. We all learned to accept the situation. Instead of being depressed and feeling sorry for ourselves, my mother went to school to become a bilingual teacher；both of my sisters had to become very responsible at a young age totake care of me and themselves. I have much respect and love for my family. My faith in them grows stronger each day because they help me so much!
I have faith in humanity. I have faith that justice will be done though the world is full of violence and misunderstanding. I have faith that our world will fnd harmony and seek peaceful resolutions. Though my high school is very racially mixed, we try to respect each others'differences and become one Oceanside family. I love the ethnic groups and how we learn about customs and cultures. I have faith that the human race will realize that life is precious and that war does not solve problems.
I have faith in myself. I believe that if I put my mind to do something, pray for God's guidance, and work very hard for what I really want, I can reach that goal. Recently I failed my biology class. My mother said that I would have to give up my dance practices to study more. I convinced her and my counselor, who wanted to put me in a general science class, that I would work harder and improve my grade. So after concentrating more on biology and making time for studying, I have brought my grade up to a B.If I did not have faith in myself I would have taken the easier class, but I stayed in biology. Now, I want to improve all my grades so that I can take tennis classes in the summer. I have faith in myself that I can put more time in my studies. I will work harder so I can do better in my grades. I have faith in myself so I know I can accomplish my goals.
Having faith is the most important law in my life. Faith in family, faith in humanity and faith in myself will lead me to a good future. Nothing great was ever achieved without faith. As the old song goes：
Have faith, Our motto is……have faith, and you won't miss a lifeof HAPPINESS when you're young remember……H**E FAITH!
我對我的生活所遵循的最重要的法則“要有信念”深信不疑：相信家庭和相信人性，並且，最重要的是要相信自己。擁有信念，才會有所成就。信念會帶來愛、信任以及對生活的信心。人失去了信念，就會感到迷茫和孤獨。擁有信念，就相當於相信自己擁有目標，而且能夠實現。
我相信家庭。信任家人，就相當於擁有了一支為你作戰的軍隊。我有母親、姐姐、堂表兄弟姐妹、繼父、姑姑、姨媽、叔叔、舅舅以及祖母。作為一個家庭，我能在困難時向他們尋求幫助，使我度過難關。我們之所以強大，就是因為我們團結在一起。當我還是個嬰兒時，我的父親就離家出走了，這對我們每個人來說都是難以承受的事實，然而我們都學會了接受現實。母親非但沒有沮喪，沒有為我們感到傷心，還到學校做了一名雙語老師。我的兩個姐姐從小就承擔起照顧我和她們自己的責任。我對家人飽含敬意和愛，我對她們的信任與日俱增，因為她們對我的幫助實在太多太多了！
我相信人性。我堅信世間總有公道，盡管這個世界充滿了暴力和誤解；我堅信我們的世界將會尋找到和諧與和平相處的辦法；盡管我所在的高中是各人種混合的大集體，但是我們盡量尊重各個方麵的差異，學校成了一個越洋大家庭。我喜歡那些少數民族的人，並且喜歡研究他們的習俗和文化。我對人類會意識到生命是寶貴的充滿信心，因為戰爭解決不了任何問題。
我相信自己。我相信假如我祈求上帝指引我做自己決意要做的事，並為自己想要得到的東西而奮力拚搏的話，我就一定能達到目標。最近，我生物考試沒有及格，母親說我必須停止練習舞蹈，以便多拿出一點兒時間來學習。我說服了母親和那個想要把我調到普通理科班的老師，我讓他們相信我會用心學習，提高成績。從那以後，我花費在生物課上的時間和精力多了，我把成績提高到B等。假如對自己沒有信心，我早就選擇更容易的課了，但是我還是留在了生物班。現在，為了暑假時能上網球學習班，我想把所有課程的成績都提高。我對自己能把更多的時間用在學習上充滿信心。我會更加努力地學習，以便提高學習成績；我相信自己，因此我知道我能實現自己的目標。
擁有信念是我人生中最重要的法則。相信家庭、相信人性、相信自己會指引我走向美好的未來。沒有信念是無法成就偉大的事業的，正像一首老歌中唱到的那樣：
擁有信念，我們的座右銘是……擁有信念，你就會擁有幸福的生活。當你年輕時，你要記得……擁有信念！
